I liked the modern renovated style, and the general condition of the hotel. It felt clean. Love the water self-serve stations on each floor, along with the customer essentials pantries next to them. The location is great - walking distance to several restaurants and bars. I found it interesting a previous review stated the hotel is not suited for leisure travelers, but that's pretty much all I saw when there. Lots of Europeans touring! The place is quiet and safe, and it’s a great deal for the price!

The service was definitely noteworthy! Talkative and informative, the friendly front desk helped us find new places to explore and made for great conversation. Valet was helpful, they held our luggage after check out with no problem or inconvenience. The place is so stylish and beautiful I couldn’t believe the pricing for our room for such an elegant hotel. Room pictured in hopper was exactly what we got! Pricing was super competitive, park and stay pricing was also very on par for other hotels, location was perfect!

Location was amazing - the hotel is right next to Chinatown and a short walk to Union Square. The hotel was clean, the staff was kind, and the amenities were better than most other major chain hotels I have been to. The staff was so accommodating when my flight was delayed and I got in past midnight - they assured me that check-in was available and would make a note for my arrival. I was surprised that so many comments complained about the size of the rooms, but they were clean and standard size in comparison to most stays. From being greeted with fortune cookies to complimentary happy hour, my stay was nothing short of amazing. If I come back, I will definitely be staying here again.

Great location downtown steps from BART/Muni station providing excellent access to SFO and the entire Bay area. Room was clean and well kept. Mattress was good. Plenty (too many!) pillows. Glad I opted for the deluxe room, but shared bathroom option is great for budget/solo travelers and in-hall restrooms and shower room are kept very clean and lock safely. Rooms and hallways are clean. Staff is helpful and courteous but demure. Morning free coffee (but no snacks)

the receptionist/front desk people were very accommodating esp. Miyao, if I remember her name. like my room. clean bed sheets towels. i never expected that i have my own faucet/sink. the cleaning staff i've encountered was pleasant. yes, there were shared toilet and shower, but they made sure that they were always clean. it's up to the guests how they use the bathroom/toilet. i felt safe at the urban hotel. for sure, be back next time. i've already recommended it to friends. 🤗

The room was nice and made good use of its limited space. The staff was also great and super helpful we were able to check in a bit earlier and leave our bags as well. The location was super close to great places and felt safe.

It was central to the parts of San Francisco we wanted to visit. It was right on a cable car stop and we loved being able to hop right on one to take down to the wharf. The hotel was clean and there was always a staff member there to welcome us. The room was very small but for the price it was perfect.
